Anthropology (ANTH)
- D class assignments available; URL: https://dornsife.usc.edu/anth/.
- D class assignments for undergraduates available; Phone: (213) 740-1900.
- To request D-Clearance for undergraduate or graduate Anthropology courses, please email anthro@dornsife.usc.edu. Be sure to include your student ID, course section number(s), current major, and class year/standing. Many ANTH classes hold seats for majors and minors. That means that even if an ANTH course is "full" or restricted enrollment (D-clearance) you may still be able to enroll if you are majoring or minoring in Anthropology or Global Studies. You must register for the course by the registration deadline once D-Clearance is granted-otherwise, your clearance will expire. Please note that many Anthropology "R" courses become "D" courses starting in the second week of classes, and will require both instructor and department approval. Attendance Policy: You are expected to attend the first class session of each course. Failure to do so may result in your spot being given to a student on the waitlist, even if you are officially enrolled. Thank you for choosing a course in the Anthropology Department, and we'll see you in class!
