Basic concepts; variational methods; isoparametric formulation; plane stress; plane strain; axisymmetric structures; plates and shells; structural dynamics; stability and buckling; computer applications; nonlinear analysis.
  • Crosslist: This course is offered by the CE department but may qualify for major credit in AME. To register, enroll in CE 529.
