Oceans, Climate, and the Environment (4.0 units)

Fundamentals of climate including atmosphere and ocean. Topics include radiative energy balance, ocean-atmosphere linkages and approaches to study climate while building quantitative and qualitative skills.
  • Corequisite: MATH 125 and 1 from (CHEM 105A or CHEM 103)
  • Restriction: Registration closed to the following class level(s): Freshmen
  • Crosslist: This course is offered by the GEOL department but may qualify for major credit in BISC. To register, enroll in GEOL 412.
