Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine (SCRM)
An introduction to transformation of a single cell into a mature organism.
- Prerequisite: 1 from (BISC 220 or BISC 221)
- Crosslist: This course is offered by the MEDS department but may qualify for major credit in SCRM. To register, enroll in MEDS 335.
- Note: This course will introduce you to some of the fundamental biological processes that go into the embryonic development of organisms, with an emphasis on the development of the human body. In this context, we will discuss the cell and molecular origins of birth defects, and the role of the environment in influencing developmental events.
