Oceanography and marine biology, sampling techniques, evolutionary adaptations, morphology, systematics.
- Prerequisite: 1 from (BISC 103 or BISC 120 or BISC 121)
- Note: This class includes a mandatory weekend field trip to Catalina Island on February 9-11, 2024. The chartered boat will leave at 2pm from the Port of Los Angeles Feb. 9 and will return to the Port at 3:30 pm Feb. 11. Transportation will be provided to and from the Port. There are no charges for this field trip. Students that have a perceived conflict with this field trip must contact the faculty prior to registration.
