Introduction to atomistic modeling and simulations of materials usingMolecular Dynamics and Monte Carlo methods, basic concepts and how tocharacterize materials properties.

Modeling of materials and processes such as mechanical, thermodynamical, and transport properties using Molecular Dynamics simulation, interatomic potentials including long-range coulomb interactions and quantum corrections.
