Fundamental principles and laws of chemistry emphasizing contemporary chemistry; laboratory work focuses on quantitative procedures. Open only to Chemistry majors. (Duplicates credit in CHEM 105a and CHEM 115a)
- Restriction: Registration open to the following major(s): Chemistry (Chemical Biology), Chemistry (Chemical Nanoscience), Chemistry (Chemical Physics), Chemistry (Research), Chemistry, Biochemistry
- General Education: This course satisfies the university's general education requirement.
- Note: Register for lecture, quiz and one lab. This course carries GE credit but it is intended for a specific group of students rather than a general student audience. Majors can obtain D-clearance for lecture through their advisor. All labs are now on waitlist. Spaces that appear available may have been offered to students from the waitlist.
