French Language and Diction (4.0 units)
Developing competence in listening, vocal pronunciation, speaking, singing, International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA), reading and writing French. Emphasizes musical texts including French song and operatic arias.
- Note: Final Exam for language will be held on . The Department of French offers a complementary practicum, FREN 012x, to improve students' French language skills while taking MPVA 261.
