Introduction to current Italian. Oral practice, hearing and reading comprehension; grammar necessary for simple spoken and written expression. Lecture, classroom drill, laboratory drill.
- Note: Students with previous exposure to Italian must take the Italian placement exam. D-clearance for Italian I is available at language.usc.edu. The final exam for this course will take place on Saturday, May 7 from 11am-1pm. NOTE: Section 34455 is a .aymester course in Rome, Italy.
