Register Transfer level machine organization; performance; arithmetic; pipelined processors; exceptions, out-of-order and speculative execution, cache, virtual memory, multi-core multi-threaded processors, cache coherence. Prerequisites: EE 354L or graduate standing.
- Prerequisite: 1 from (EE 254 or EE 354)
- Note: Please register for EE 590 (1 unit-Redekopp)in addtion to EE 457 for a total of 4 units in Summer 2016.
