Conservation Biology (4.0 units)
Principles of conservation science in marine and terrestrial ecosystems with emphasis on protecting biological diversity and balancing the needs of nature with those of humans. Recommended preparation: Introductory course in biology such as BISC-103, BISC-120 or BISC-121, or AP Biology credit.
- Crosslist: This course is offered by the BISC department but may qualify for major credit in ENST. To register, enroll in BISC 352.
- Note: ENST Block Semester on Catalina Island - full semester room and board fees of $2,345 and a $200 lab fee apply. Interested students should contact the instructor for permission to enroll.
